Summer Classes Start July 5

Active Duty Military: Bring your cost down to zero.

Our goal is to make it as easy as possible for our servicemembers, veterans and military family members to reach their education and career goals. That's why we are active in these military programs:

  • GoArmyEd
  • Navy College Program Distance Learning Partnership (NCPDLP)
  • Air Univeristy Associate-to-Baccalaureate Cooperative (AU-ABC)

We also offer our own exclusive Strayer Active Duty Military Assistance program and Graduation Fund for undergraduates.

The combination of these programs can, in many cases, bring your tuition costs to virtually nothing. We also offer these additional ways to help make your degree affordable:

  • Our membership in Servicemembers Opportunity Colleges (SOC) allows you to complete an undergraduate degree at participating institutions regardless of where you're stationed
  • Credit for your applicable military training and education

Assistance for military spouses

As a spouses of an active duty military service member, you are eligible for the same scholarships as the service member, regardless of whether or not the service member is a student at Strayer University.

We also participate in the Department of Defense's Military Spouse Career Advancement Accounts (MyCAA) program. The MyCAA program provides up to $4,000 of financial assistance to eligible military spouses pursuing a license, certification or associate degree.

Strayer University was the start of the next chapter of my life after getting out of the Navy. It amazed me how much military life is different from civilian life. Strayer's staff and professors were very welcoming and understanding. To my fellow veterans and active duty service members, I recommend Strayer to you hands down.
